In a nutshell, what can Cutebods.com offer me?
Whether you’re seeking to become a model and enter the modelling industry for purposes of turning into a glamour model, fashion model or any type of model or you wish to significantly enhance your existing modelling career, Cutebods is the leading place to be. Yet, our services do not cease there. Perhaps you want to book models for a particular job, formulate a model portfolio, locate or offer modelling jobs, or indeed find photographers, we can more than be of assistance. Indeed, if you’re a photographer seeking to boost your portfolio and income as well, Cutebods also offers a listings page for you to advertise your services to both members and non-members of the site.

How does this site work?
Cutebods is an all encompassing and revolutionary site designed to offer a platform where everyday people with modelling aspirations whether it be because you have an attractive yet unique face or sexy figure can significantly enhance their chances of getting related work and meeting people. Indeed, users are not necessarily limited to admirers only but also include individuals and companies seeking sexy people for work purposes such as glamour, artistic, television, fashion and lingerie.
Registration is pretty straightforward. You just sign up and submit a minimum of 5 pictures and a maximum of 30 with all being unique. There are NO fees whatsoever to sign up for a basic listing although members have to be at least 18 years old. As a member and to put it frankly, as well as earning money from work, every time a visitor pays to see your more revealing pictures and contact you for whatever reason, you earn a fee of between £1 and £1.50. This means that the more popular you are, the more you’re likely to earn on Cutebods.

Is Cutebods a modelling agency?
Yes it is. Like any other agency, you go on our books and as we put work your way, derive a modest slice from it for our efforts. Further, we draw on our vast experience, contacts and promotional efforts to ensure work is continually put your way.

What details are provided to people wanting to contact me?
Only the details on your profile and images are supplied to our clients (i.e. parties with work). Paying admirers get to see your additional photos and contact you albeit not directly. Under no circumstances do we disclose your personal details such as full name, address, home or mobile number.

How many pictures do I need to sign up and what type?
You will need at least five pictures with one serving as the public picture that everyone gets to see. On top of the mandatory five pictures required for registration, the site also gives you the opportunity to submit an additional 15-30 pictures. This offers visitors the chance to see more of you in differing poses and boost your chances of getting work and admirers.
All types of pictures are acceptable including nudity as long as it is in good taste (i.e. artistic nudity).

What of copyright laws?
We take this very seriously and as a result, all members must ensure that when submitting pictures onto the site, either they own the rights to their pictures or (if they do not), have sought the permission of the owner which is usually the photographer.

Do you accept watermarked pictures?
No we do not including ones that have adverts or Internet links on them. All pictures put in the site are automatically watermarked by cutebods to prevent people using your pictures to pass off as their own. In effect, this measure is designed to safeguard your copyright.

How do I know the pictures of me will be desirable to visitors?
The answer is you do not know until you sign up. After all, tastes and preferences differ so there are probably hundreds if not thousands of people that will find your figure desirable for whatever reason. Whether just to admire you and try their luck in the process or for their next work related project. What have you got to lose? Absolutely nothing!

Do the pictures have to be professional looking?
Not really but at least to a satisfactory standard as this is what potential work offerors will use to partially assess you for their next project. In the event of us deeming your submitted pictures to be below standard, you will be notified and advised to use the services of a professional photographer from our approved list and one closest to your region.

How does payment work?
Every time a person pays to contact you for whatever reason and get to see your more revealing pictures, we pay you a slice of that fee [£1.00]. It’s as straightforward as that. For accounting and purposes however, prior to payment, we will need your full name and address as being on the site means that you are effectively self-employed with us putting income your way [as well as admirers].

How do I receive payment?
Payment [at the moment] can be via cheque or direct into your nominated account whichever method you are most comfortable with.

Can I use the site to meet people in addition to getting work?
Yes you can. In your profile area, we provide fields for you to enter all the information you want as well as an ‘about me’ box for anything you may have missed out.

Are there any catches such as paying you any money to sign up?
Not at all! We do not require any sign up fees but only for a basic listing. If you want additional yet optional extras designed to boost your profile, a fee is attached but we reiterate this is only optional.

How does Cutebods.com promote itself?
The short answer is extensively! By this we mean by a variety of ways including PR, multiple Google sponsored ads, print and radio advertising, and using our far-reaching contacts in the industry to extend the brand.

Can I choose what type of modelling I’m open to?
Yes you can. The registration form permits you to select the types of modelling you’re open to and armed with this information, clients and bookers can be better informed when choosing the most suited models for the work in question.

How do I remove myself from the site?
Quite simple really. Simply send a short email notifying us of your request to cancellations@cutebods.com and we’ll do the rest.

Do I have to be exclusively tied to you?
No you do not as it is not a stipulation in your signing up to the site.

What if I am exclusively tied to another agency?
If you are exclusively contracted to another agency, then we assume you won’t be available for modelling work through us. If this is the case, you can list yourself down as only wishing to earn extra money from admirers and not be open to receiving work from us.

Can you tell me how many jobs I can expect in a year?
This is an impossible question to answer as each models work rate is reliant on many different factors. Some models ‘hit it off’ quicker than others and seem to secure every job for which they are auditioned . Others take a little longer to warm up and yet once they do there is sometimes no stopping them. A great deal depends on various factors such as which look and what age group the client requires for the job not to mention the model’s personality after all, they have to be able to work with you.

How will I know when a client is interested in me?
The agency will contact you by telephone and email to provide you with the details of your booking. Please note, that the agency will contact you only when we have a definite booking for you. The agency is simply too busy to contact models if a client has only expressed an interest in the model or if the agency is in the negotiation stage of the booking.

Is there a fee to be represented by your agency?
No. We do not charge fees for representation. We earn the standard 30% agency commission on work models perform through our agency. While there are no fees to be represented by our agency, models are required to cover their own expenses such as getting good quality photos done.

I have my own website, why can’t you just tell clients to view me there?
I’m afraid we cannot. If you are a model with our agency you have to have your photos on our site. It would be extremely unprofessional of our agency and time-consuming for our clients to be directed to dozens of individual websites to find the right model for the job. In addition, our agency must maintain control over the quality of photos and the manner in which our models our represented. By permitting models to use individual websites we would be unable to maintain quality control. Clients want to book models quickly from an established and professional agency. Our website is accessed 24 hours a day by advertising agencies, magazine editors, photographers, stylists, clothing manufacturers and casting directors.

What type of models do you represent?
We represent both male and female models. Female models from ages 13-55 and male models of the same age bracket. However, the younger you are, the more the frequency of your work offers is likely to be.

How available do I need to be for bookings?
The more availability from a model the better the chances of booking work and being successful. It is important for you to be open to short notice castings, auditions and work both during the placement process and certainly while in a foreign market. We may get a one day notice when an agent is flying into meet our models, which means that is as much notice as you the model will receive. You need to be ready both physically and with your portfolio up to date with your most recent photos. Rigidity to these short notice castings makes it more difficult to place you internationally as the agents won't get to meet you face to face.
When you are overseas, you may get a call and have to go immediately to an audition. Clients call for models often with short notice and we need to be able to contact you right away to meet with them or confirm bookings. Having said that, you must keep your phone numbers current and it is important for you to be available by mobile phone if you are seldom at home. It is also important for you to check messages and email regularly.

Can I pursue an education and model at the time?
Yes, but your career will be limited. You can travel during spring/summer breaks and be available for direct bookings (meaning the client pays for you to travel from where you are presently to where they will be shooting). If you are a model who is in high demand you will need to assess your scholastic situation with your parents and determine if you will be able to do your studies in one of these ways. We advocate the completion of your education but as a business also realize that a model’s career sometimes accelerates at a speed that dictates a decision about full time studies.

What investment does the agency make in my career?
The agency spends a lot of time and effort promoting a model to hundreds of international agencies and clients world-wide. We negotiate contracts, set-up travel, work on each model on an individual basis, manage all international career charts, make placement decisions, etc. Some models require more time than others so do not compare yourself to other models.

Is there anything about my appearance that I may have to change in order to model for your agency?
In order to get a positive response from international agencies, models may need to change things such as their hair colour and/or style, clear up skin if it is not perfect, work on their personality if they are not outgoing, change their personal style if needed, grow, lose weight, grow out eyebrows, etc. This depends entirely on the model and the nature of the particular job. Indeed, all this will be discussed with each model if required and as and when a relevant position arises.

How long is your contract?
Our contract is yearly and continues on a yearly basis on the anniversary date. Termination of our agreement is discussed on an individual basis outside of the terms of the contract. We recommend that you seek independent consul so you completely understand each clause.

How much notice am I likely to have for bookings?
This works on a case by case basis. Sometimes you have weeks in advance notice, sometimes its very last minute. Again, you need to be dynamic, in and out of season and ready to meet an agent or client with short notice. So you must be contactable by mobile and regularly check your emails if you’re serious about getting work!

How long do you think it will stake to start working?
It all depends on the model and if the model is exactly what the clients are looking for. Some are lucky and work immediately, some have to wait and just be patient especially if your pictures are deemed not to me satisfactory.

How do bookings work?
Once a client contacts (having seen your profile) or we select you for a particular job on the instructions of the client, we contact you and enquire as to whether you are available to work the job. If you are, the client is notified that you are available. This does not mean you’re confirmed for the job. If you are confirmed for the job, we will let you know. If the booking takes place on location and travel is involved, it is usually the client who pays for this. The clients cover travel, accommodation, meals and your booking rate.

Do I have to do all the bookings you call to confirm?
No. If you are not available due to prior commitments than that’s perfectly okay. If it is a major campaign and we think it’s really important for you then we will encourage you to change your plans. If you have previously told us that you were available for the job then you are committed to doing the booking.

How and when am I paid for after a job?
Typically it can take up to three months or longer depending on the client. The client will pay us and having deducted our commission fees, pay you directly by the most suitable method. Commissions differ from market to market. Typically (and as is standard within the industry), 30% is taken off. With regards to taxes, you are considered self employed; you must take care of claiming income to your local tax office. This also means you need to keep track of all your expenses relative to your development, travel and overall pursuit of your career as a model. It is the one profession you can claim hair cuts and make up purchases! Keep your receipts; keep track of your bookings, rates, and income. You are self employed and must pay taxes as a self-employed individual.
